My daughter calls me mama, and my golden retriever never lets me sit. My husband is no less than a modern-day patriot and we all travel together as much as possible.

Delightedly, Charleston, South Carolina, was my young adult home and where I learned how tightly dwellings (whether shabby rentals or antebellum mansions) and lifestyles are intertwined.

My real estate and design lessons began simply because I was without a car the majority of my college years. So, I walked. An inconvenience at the time, I am grateful today for the opportunity I had to thoroughly admire each hand-forged wrought iron gate and hidden garden tucked among the stately, yet amiable, homes.

Our military lifestyle has put me on a path with many divergences, equally positive and challenging. More than 20 years of experience allows me to share experiences and knowledge with complete credibility.
